Hey! I’m Seb: a South African-born designer of all things digital, currently based in Älmhult, Sweden.

For the past several years, I’ve been lucky enough to travel the world doing what I love, for brands that I love. Land Rover, Jaguar, KAYAK.com Durex, McDonald’s, PPC Cement and Sasol are just a few of them.

UI design and art direction are my core strengths, which gives my work a harmonious mix of user-centric logic and visual magic. When the balance between the two is just right, the result is simplicity. Effective, eye-catching solutions that seem obvious (even if we know that the road to get there often isn’t).

 

My quest for simplicity usually looks something a little like this:
Exploring: Unpacking the brief. Looking for new possibilities. Understanding the user/audience. Asking why.
Experimenting: Thinking of something. Testing it out and hating it. Trying something else. Not liking that either. Going back to square one. Finding something new. Something great. Seeing how far I can take it.
Executing: Bringing it to life. Adding a few final touches. Removing everything unnecessary. Getting it as close to perfect as I can.
